Thursday, September 10: Meeting with elders and search team
Friday, September 11, 7:00 pm: Young Families Event
If you still have children of any age at home, OR do not yet have children, OR are single and in that basic demographic, this event is for you.
It will consist of a simple dessert and a time of Q&A designed to get to know Josh and his family. Submit questions in advance to daren@lwac.ca
There will be a movie and carefully prepared popcorn available for children in the upper hall.
Saturday, September 12
Men’s Breakfast, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m
Men- show up by 8 and be out by 9! Eric Vanderkruk will be preparing the meal and Josh will share a devotional.

Sunday, September 13: Two morning services: 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
*The 10:30 am service is now full.
The 9:00 am service will be recorded and available online on the lwac.ca sermons page as quickly as possible (hopefully by 10:30 a.m.) for those who are unable or prefer not to come to the church.
What you can do right now:
Email daren@lwac.ca about which events you plan to attend, and how many are attending with you.
Think of a question or two you would like Josh to be asked at the Friday and/or Saturday events and send them to daren@lwac.ca
These are “get to know you” kind of questions, not a group job interview!
Pray for safety for travel for Josh and family and for clear direction for the McCallums, the elders and the church.
We have a saying in transitional ministry that “candidation is not coronation.” To put it another way, this time of candidation does not mean that it is a done deal that Josh will come as lead pastor. Both he and Mandy, as well as the board, can choose not to proceed further. Candidation is a time of discernment for all. Please take some time and pray into this process.
